Founded in 1981 in Pievesestina di Cesena (FC), the company started in small-scale oxy-cutting, shearing, and bending operations, mostly aimed at local markets.
Since then, Siderflange has seized growth opportunities and gradually expanded in size, activity, and region. “Market dynamics” – explains the general manager, Fabio Biguzzi – “and the precise desire to be able to serve our customers with systems and equipment that are always in step with innovation has always determined the need for continuously innovating our machine park, both to improve production capacity and quality and to make our processes increasingly competitive.” A well-rooted operating philosophy, consolidated by the company’s recent investment in a new laser system, a Mazak OPTIPLEX 4020 DDL with a direct diode source.
“The new Mazak direct diode laser represents a new step” – says Biguzzi – “Which will be joined by the already planned new 12 m Bevel head laser cutting plant arriving next year.”
Siderflange is able to process sheet metal formats up to 12,000 x 3,000 mm in thicknesses that can reach 300 mm. “We have in stock” – specifies Biguzzi – “the entire range of high-strength Ssab, of which we have also been an authorized center since 2017 Hardox Wareparts.”
Watch the interview and find out how Industry 4.0, direct diode, and CO2 cutting technologies enable Siderflange to carry out all stages of processing, from entry of the material in the warehouse to processing and treatments.
“Our goal has always been to be able to offer a 360-degree service in sheet metal processing, therefore including not only cutting laser, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, but also bending, crimping and calendering. This is why we have equipped ourselves with an articulated and performing, flexible and very versatile machine park. These are prerogatives that reflect the new Mazak laser well.
Fabio Biguzzi, General Manager
